Happy New Years, everybody!
I've got less than two hours to go til the new year, so I just wanna say that.
-And since I'm here... I might as well also say, "Merry Belated Christmas, everyone!"
May your year start off great! (Or decent at least for you drinkers tonight...!)
And wouldn't you know it; I get sick tonight... -_-;

So here I am...

-in New Mexico...
So long Cali, it's been nice living in ya, with all your pretty people and expensive doo-dahs. Though, really... I am gonna miss that state seeing as how I've lived there most of my life and all my loved ones...
Well, at least I'll be back for Anime Expo 2010, and of course for the holidays to see my family and friends.
It's been a little over a week since I left and I just about got done with settling down in my Aunt's downstair's den here. Argh, I spent so much money on just the necessities alone...! >_<
Jeez, I hope I get hired soon because I'm gonna need a car soon as well; along with more money for food and rent!
So far, I've had two interviews and personally felt they went pretty well. I think there's a good chance I might get one of the jobs, hee-hee. ^_^ Whoops, better not jinx myself... *Knock on wood*
Well, I guess that's it really... There's not much going on, except for me getting using to Albuquerque and me currently job-hunting. There's no TV here (my aunt and her boyfriend don't exactly believe in it as entertainment.) so I've notice I've gotten a lot of spare time on my hands to do little things. Plus, I just got a nice table for my den to eat on and draw on...! No more back-pains for me! So I can probably, though doubtfully, get more work done...! Yay!
Seriously though, all this extra time is pretty crazy. I find myself doing house-chores just for fun...

Back in Cali...

Alright, I'm back and well rested...! I feel so, so... good? (I'm gonna need a thesaurus for that word. lol) But it's true, I feel so much better from the trip...! New Mexico really is a beautiful place and I've met so many awesome people there! Volunteering at Adelante (a organization that offers help and special programs with people who have disabilities.) was especially rewarding and I'm actually missing the people there...
In the beginning I thought I would be awkward and unsure of myself in working with these clients, but that wasn't the case at all. All of them (staff and clients) were some of the most amazing people I've come to know and I really wish I had gotten more time to work with them. Since it was an arts and animal program I got to take care of the animals there and use my ability in art to interact with my clients. Wither I made an impact or not on their lives I'm still gratefull I was able to get such a memorable experience...
Supposedly, I even helped out 2 chinchillas that were close to being given away...! I was told the supervisor of that program wanted to get rid of them unless they were somehow tamed so clients could play with them. Other then that, it was felt that the chinchillas were a waste of space and money. I didn't know this until the last week when I had gotten a few clients to hold them and someone had told me the situation. Honestly, I was just spending time with them because they looked so cute and soft. I didn't think I was doing anything that important at the time...! lol So yeah, at least I was of some help to the program.
After that my aunt wanted me to stay a little longer to go on a mini-road-trip with her. Gotta say... -it was an awesome trip! In the span of 2 days I got to see a UFO museum in Roswell (corny, but informative), Carl's Bad Cavern (the exodous of the bats was amazing), drove through the Sacramento Mountians (very beautiful), and visited White Sands (freakin' bright as hell with all the white sand!). So yeah, that was my vacation and it seems me going back there might be in the near future...
During my last days there, I was given an offer to live there with her and her boyfriend. Even though I didn't exactly hesitate at her offering, it didn't mean I wasn't nervous... cause I was.
The chance to live somewhere new and outta state seems very alluring, I'm not gonna lie, but I guess I'm unsure of how to tell my friends. For awhile, both me and my friends have wanted to take some classes together this fall for the first time, but... since I'll probably be leaving around October I guess I'll have to break those promises. 
OTL Hmmm, -what to do, what to do...
Anyway, during my stay there I didn't have the internet like I had fear, so I'm sorry for the non-replies. I'll get to guys, I promise! For now, I just wanted to say "thank you" for all the faves and comments. It was surprising to find my inbox filled with so many faves...!
Oh, and to be off topic... I wanted to see if anyone was interested in me doing commissions. I know I had asked before, but I just wanted to offer the opportunity again.
